What a fun weekend
Whew! It has been a doggie fun filled weekend. They definitely deserved it. I started back to work full-time this week and the dogs were so good about adjusting to a new schedule and new routines. So, it only seemed fitting that we play and have a doggie fun filled weekend to reward them for their good behavior.
Saturday we drove to a dock jumping event for the Rocketmonster. He got a chance to jump in 2 rounds of competition. He is always ready for that. His best jump of the day was 19'10". He was jumping big and ready to go. His last 2 jumps weren't as good, but when we got home we realized that he had 2 irritated feet (plus a foot that was healing from an injury earlier in the week). Knowing that his 17'4" and 17'10" jumps weren't bad at all.
Today we had the dogs out for a little play session. And oh my goodness, Leo played frisbee! I don't think he ever actually caught the frisbee, but he chased it, picked it up and mostly brought it back to us.
