April shower bring May flowers (finally)
You know the saying 'April showers bring May flowers'. It worked, my tulips finally bloomed. Now I will fully admit I live in the great north, but we always have tulips before May. Apparently feet of snow and cold weather that wouldn't leave followed by rain and chilly temps slowed my tulips down a lot. But never fear, the tulips are in bloom and summer is coming.
