"He deserved it"

That is what Rocky told me -"Leo deserved it."

All in all, things have been quiet
at the Team Rocketdog house. The boys were disappointed that Sunday's snow was gone by Monday afternoon. Leo was hoping to get to run around like the crazy dog he is in the snow. Since all the snow had melted off yesterday, there was no puppy play time. Mushy, muddy ground + puppy play time = no grass and very messy dogs. So, I knew when I got home today, that play time was a must. The ground was still soft, so no Frisbee or fetch. Just chase the puppy and tug. And that all seemed safe.

So, the boys are racing around the garage and I honestly have no idea who is chasing who. Now, it is important to note that my dogs play with wide open mouths. They aren't going to bite or eat each other, it is just how they play. So, I see Rocky go at Leo with an open mouth. And then I see a huge chunk of Leo's fur in Rocky's mouth. I am not too worried because Leo didn't cry and he is blowing his coat right now.

However, later tonight Leo was laying on his side and I saw this (for reference - the spot is about the size of a silver dollar)

This the look from Leo (he is a sleepy puppy)

And I zoomed in on his forehead (note the grass stain that Rocky helped him get)

Never a dull moment with Team Rocketdog!
